Accessing Labnet

The best way to access your Labnet account is over the Internet. Anyone with a SLIP/PPP connection to the Internet can connect to the web server. This can be done through most major online services as well, like Compuserve or the Microsoft Network.

Use your local Internet provider to access our special services. We have software available for your use.

Your web page:
You may view your web page using your favorite web browser. We suggest Netscape, but Microsoft is also nice because its free!

Modifying your web page:
Labnet customers receive a personal directory on Labnet's Web Server. Changing the appearance of your web page is a matter of uploading and downloading files into your Labnet directory. This is done using an Internet protocol called FTP.
We recommend the freeware program called WS_FTP for MS Windows or Windows 95. It is available from our anonymous FTP site.

E-Mail And Customer Service:
Labnet customers may access our BBS over the Internet using Telnet software. We suggest the excellant shareware program Commnet. Use your BBS account to send/recieve Internet e-mail, plus use as a point of contact for Labnet sales and customer service.
